‘repeat offender’
FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, Palestinians have experienced relentless offenses, from political persecution, the siege of Gaza, to the Apartheid system in the West Bank.
Notably, the lyrics draw from the experiences of Palestinians in Gaza, who have repeatedly faced Israeli offenses in 2008, 2012, 2014, 2021, and currently in 2024, echoing the historical impact of the 1948 Nakba and 1967 Naksa.
As awareness grows regarding these recurring offenses with a horrific intent, and as the native people of the Holy Land persist in their resistance, the chains imposed by the oppressor will shatter, paving the way for freedom.
